Tampa Theatre’s traveling outdoor picture show, Sunset Cinema, enters its second season bringing free, large-scale, family-friendly
outdoor movie screenings to neighborhoods throughout the area. Last year’s events attracted many people who enjoyed picnics,
Frisbees and movies under the stars in public parks. This year's events expect to draw 1,000-2,000 per event!
Tampa Theatre produces the events using a giant 40-foot inflatable screen and high-definition high-intensity digital projectors. Gates
open two hours before the movie begins, allowing for plenty of time to talk with potential customers. Admission to the event is always
free. Guests picnic, play Frisbee, listen to music and enjoy the evening in a safe, relaxed atmosphere prior to the start of the movie.
